It's always sad when you hear of the death of someone who's Music and spirit has greatly influenced you and Little Willie Littlefield, who played so wonderfully at the 2009 UK Festival and passed away just a few weeks ago, is someone who will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him!

Festival Organiser Julian Phillips was determined we should make a Tribute to Little Willie so he could be remembered and celebrated at this years Festival.

The song chosen was perhaps one of Willie's best known ones : "Kansas City", and accompanied by Big John Carter {piano}, the Chris Concoran Trio with Howard Meyrick {saxophone} on the back line, and dancers Jelly Germain and Caroline Podetti, I think this was a lovely way to remember the "Great Man of Blues"
