This fifth annual concert featured a particularly impressive lineup of regional roots-music talent in a special Veterans For Peace John Lennon Birthday Concert. Magdalen was in good company with: Mr. B, Dick Siegel, Chris Buhalis, John Latini, FUBAR, San and Emily Slomovits, Dave Boutette, Jen Sygit, Shari Kane and Dave Steele, Tinkerhess, Ryan Shea and Wire in the Wood, Dave Keeney and Sophia Hanifi, Potter's Field and Jason Dennie. All performed Lennon's works.
Proceeds went to the Peace Scholarship Fund of the local Chapter of Veterans For Peace, assisting Michigan college students -- with a preference to veterans -- studying any collegiate level course aimed at conflict resolution or peace studies.
