Turning up the heat in July, Luis Martinez returns to EPM Music.  His last appearance was in 2011 when he delivered his tough house remix of Carl Taylor's 'Only U' (EPM013), now he's back with an original cut taken from his forthcoming album. 'Do Me' is a bouncing, disco inspired, house groover, with killer sampling that's full of warmth and Luis' passion for music, backed up with remixes from Greg Gow, Detroit Grand Pubahs and Dan d'Ascenzo.

Hailing from New York, Luis Martinez runs Monsta Recordings.  Starting out as a DJ in 1985, his reputation grew and he found himself playing alongside such luminaries as Frankie Bones, Lil' Louie Vega, Junior Vasquez, Roger Sanchez and Danny Tenaglia. Now living in the Tampa Bay area, Luis runs his studios (he's also a recording engineer and mastering technician) and the label, but most evenings you can still find him DJing in clubs.  As well as his forthcoming album for EPM Music, Luis' tracks and remixes have appeared most recently on Bulletdodge Records and he regularly spins on Tampa Bay's WMNF FM 88.5. Toronto based Greg Gow
is one of Canada's leading electronic dance music artists.  His international stature is well established as a DJ, producer, promoter and label manager.  Known for his highly acclaimed releases for Derrick May's Transmat, as well as a variety of other international labels, he¿s also looking forward to forthcoming material on Kevin Saunderson's KMS.  Before then, he delivers a remix of 'Do Me' that brings the disco loop further into late-night territory and ready to be launched onto a warehouse crowd.

The unstoppable Detroit Grand Pubahs continue to manage a busy DJ and Live schedule, most recently with a mini tour of Japan, alongside frequent releases and remixes, whether it's for their own Engineroom label or other discerning imprints like DJ Pierre's AA Trax which launched in April with their 'Acid Dreams' release.  Their percussion-led reworking of 'Do Me' takes the track in a tribal direction, with layered drum patterns and clever cut-ups of the vocal sample.

Like the other artists on this release, Belgium's Dan d'Ascenzo (Loulou Records/ Leftright Recordings) lives a demanding life.  He juggles work as a producer, songwriter, remixer, DJ, engineer and mastering technician (EPM's Analog Mastering).  For his 'Dub Rerub' version of 'Do Me', Dan strips it back to the beats and slows the tempo, creating a dubby techno groove. Luis Martinez's debut album is set for release on EPM Music in Spring 2014, but watch out for further releases on the label leading up to this.
