DESCRIPTION:
Rev. Calvin Suggs, now an internationally acclaimed gospel music recording artist, evangelist and radio/television personality made his recording debut in 1984 while still a high school student in Farmville NC, At 17 Calvin and several friends formed The Gospel Ensemble and began working on original gospel compositions with plans to record their music first...prior to touring the Eastern North Carolina region the following year.
"Call On Jesus" was one of 5 sides cut for Greenville NC Label Audio Arts and appeared as the first track on side A of their EP issued the following year.
