Rev. Calvin Suggs, now an internationally acclaimed gospel music recording artist, evangelist and radio personality made his recording debut in 1984 while still a high school student in Farmville NC, At 17 Calvin and several friends formed The Gospel Ensemble and began working on his original gospel compositions with plans to record their music first...prior to touring the Eastern North Carolina region the following year.
