LYRICS- on a cold stormy night
the villagers gather in the center of town
the torches burning bright
as the holy one preaches the circle around
with there bibles in hand
they believe that witchcraft still exist
so they gather by the wood lines
with make shift weapons to kill the witch

deep in the swamps
surrounded by dying trees
they say she lives in solitude
until its time to feed

the villagers know what there in for
but revenge will fuel there soul
living in fear will be over
once we burn her alive and take control

the wait will be over tonight
we must burn her alive
melting in agony screaming in pain
we must destroy her there is no other way

screaming out with vengeance
face the witches revenge
turning your flesh inside out
as your dying and screaming in pain

it was the only consistence
to be sacrificed in the night
dying for religion
to kill the creature of unholy design

they gather by its house
taunting the witch with violence and fire
death in there minds
to kill the witch is there one desire

but the spell on there minds
drive them to kill on command
delirious preachers accusing
the sins on their own fellow man

down by the river side
bodies lie mangled and dead
twisted and torn from a black magic curse
that will see them to their death

the witch of the swamp
violently misunderstood
now the villagers steer clear of the
cabin in the wood.
