April 3rd, 1991: Under the pseudoscience of Astrology and the ‘Year of the Ram’ a talent was born. Raised on gospel and inspired by TOP 40 teen years, Aboriginal pop singer-songwriter/pianist Jesse Aaron was always poised to create and perform. Developing a keen sense of emotion to accompany his passion for music (from production to chord progression) through the years Awaken Aries would come to life. Writing 150 songs between 2009-2011, it was only a matter of time before his collective stories of life, love and loss would surface as a debut full length. A survivor - his stories of darkness displayed in a positive light, now serve as the soundtrack to an artist determined to help himself and others heal.
Expressing his art in a form outside himself, Awaken Aries continues to march to a different drum, thanks in part, to his debut single Take Me There (featuring Sam) and swing infused follow up Wanna Be That Guy (featuring Alexandra & Brandee). Leaving no genre untouched, his debut - Extraordinaires Anthology Volume One - turns the page on pop standards and captivates the listener with its innovative sounds and personal storytelling.
