DESCRIPTION:
BraAgas is a world and medieval music band from Prague. Formed in year 2007, their repertoire consists of traditional songs from Southern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Balkans and Scandinavia. They admire the beauty of Sephardic songs, lively and melancholic songs of Serbia, Macedonia and Bulgaria, but also a rough female folklore of Northern Europe. BraAgas has performed all over Europe and abroad. Their world music genre album 'Tapas' won the Andel 2009 award, the Czech version of Grammy. The musicians will enchant you with their unique vocals and vivid rhythms along with non-traditional brass and string instruments. BraAgas also performs on medieval events with special ancient repertoire, dressed with beautiful historical costumes.
