Georg Enders Orkester, Refrain: Sten Aller - Dina blå ögon lova mer (Your Blue Eyes Promise More), Tango (J.Sylvain – G.Stevens) Cameo 1934 (Sweden)

NOTE: Georg ENDERS (1898 – 1954) Swedish pianist, composer and bandleader of a Silesian origin (He was born in Kopice in today’s Poland, then Austria-Hungary Empire). He studied piano in the Neues Wiener Conservatory in Vienna, in 1921 he moved to Sweden and was employed as a pianist in a cinema, he also wrote his first composition, which he gave the title of Old Man Noah. He studied in the mid-20s at Schartaus Business Institute in Stockholm and after completing education he founded his own dance band. In the years 1927-1936 he played with his orchestra at Berns and 1938-1939 in King's Park in Malmö. His orchestra also had involvement in Switzerland, Germany, Denmark and Russia. For some time in the 1930s he was a publishing director of Sonora record company in Stockholm, where he recorded many of his dance-music sides. I regret, I did not find anything about singer Sten Aller, who so nicely sings for Georg Enders in this recording.

In the slideshow presented are some of the fabulous Swedish posters from the 1930s.
