Finn and the Sharks' video of Innercity Rockabilly was filmed and produced by NADA Videos by Dona and Leslie Laufer in 1982. The video was a finalist on MTV's Basement Tapes contest and was also used by the Showtime Network as filler between movies as well as on other cable networks and was widely played in New York's club scene at the time. The song was written by Billy Roues © 1981 Sharkabilly Music: ASCAP. The recording was produced and engineered by Larry Alexander at Nyack Sound Studio in Nyack NY in 1981.
