Hey! My name is Billy Roues and I'm the lead guitarist for Finn & the Sharks. This site represents my take on the band and shouldn't be confused as being representative of what all my bandmates would like the world to see. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About the songs featured here:

1. Wheels Start Turning. This is the original 8 track recording from 1981 featured on the 4 song vinyl EP we released that summer on Rebel Records. There were only 1500 of em so they are collector's items. I've seen them go for $70 at record shows and that was 10 years ago. The one on Shark Therapy was recorded at Power Station and released on HME (John Hammond's label) in 1985 as a single w/ picture sleeve.

2. At The Crossroads. Studio version of the same song featured on Shark Therapy (live at CBGB's). The live version was the B-side to Wheels on the HME single.

3.Bopper's Palace. Previously unreleased and recorded in 1982 at Nyack Sound.

4. Rhythm'n'Ruin. Recorded in 1983 at Nyack Sound and also unreleased before this space.

Shark Therapy is available at www.cdbaby.com/finnsharks (just click on the CD cover on this page and it will take you there.) Our new CD, Built To Last, is available at www.cdbaby.com/finnsharks3. It has already garnered some great reviews from online radio DJ's and in print.

.

Biographically speaking;

We got together in the late 70's merging punk and rockabilly and it just blossomed from there. We reunited as a quartet in October 2004 and began writing new material while releasing some of the stuff that has never been on CD before from the old days. You can sample that material at the cdbaby sites mentioned above.

The songs available here are not available anywhere else as of yet. I hope to rotate the selection as time goes by. Please let me know what you think.

My top friends are sites that feature the music and history of some of the greats and some obscure artists that influenced me and my mates.
