Renowned Tenor Anthony Kearns performs the U.S. National Anthem ("The Star Spangled Banner") at the official ceremony in honor of the 50th Anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's historic visit to Ireland in June 1963 at Arlington National Cemetery.

His Excellency Ambassador Michael Collins hosted the lighting ceremony of the Gathering Torch from The Eternal Flame at President Kennedy's gravesite on June 18, 2013. Guests included U.S. Congressman Joe Kennedy III (D-MA), members of the Shriver family, Irish and U.S.dignitaries, Special Olympians, and others. The flame then traveled to Ireland to light The Emigrant Flame where it was greeted in New Ross, County Wexford on June 22, 2013.

Mr. Kearns is well regarded as one of the world's finest tenors and is an original founding member of singing sensation, The Irish Tenors. He frequently performs at charity concerts, on television, and with the finest symphony orchestras and opera houses. In 2013, Kearns opened the televised National Memorial Day Parade, was the featured performer at the Friends of Ireland Luncheon hosted by Speaker of the House John Boehner for President Barack Obama and Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny, among others, and he sang with the U.S. Army Chorus for General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Medal of Honor recipients. His celebrity appearances, including his appearance at the JFK50 Official Flame Transfer Ceremony, were arranged by Kirsten Fedewa & Associates, L.L.C.
