RECORDING IN A WW2 PIL BOX, Recording in interesting locations. Part 5 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 08, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
RECORDING IN A WW2 PIL BOX, The rehearsal room for today. Inside a 2nd world war pill box.
The room resonance was around 92.5htz (the note of g flat) Recording in interesting locations.

Big bass frequencies building up with every hum...love it!

When freetracking/rehearsing/writing and recording in locations like this you cannot help but be influence by your surroundings.

Room vibrations and reflections build up.

My latest album 'Just for the Record Too' was written and captured during a 5887km cycle ride around Europe. Starting in Edam, then to Gruyere over the alps to Gorgonzola, a slight detour to into the Pyrenees the up to Camembert to finish.
