RECORDING IN AN ABANDONED TRAIN TUNNEL, Recording in interesting locations. Part 3 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 21, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
The rehearsal room for today. Inside a disused hop railway tunnel.
Fantastic long decay on the reverb. When freetracking/rehearsing/writing and recording in locations like this you cannot help but be influence by your surroundings. Recording in interesting locations.

This train line was closed in 1961 and was part of the Hawkhurst branch line. The tunnel is 186 yards long:) and very scary when on your own.

My latest album 'Just for the Record Too' was written and captured during a 5887km cycle ride around Europe. Starting in Edam, then to Gruyere over the alps to Gorgonzola, a slight detour to into the Pyrenees the up to Camembert to finish.
