DESCRIPTION:
Ben Bedford is a younger generation singer-songwriter from Springfield, Illinois. Educated and steeped in his country's history, he's written a number of songs that speak to events before his own lifetime. This song, Land of the Shadows, remembers the death of Emmett Till. Ben is a friend and I made this video presentation to honour his work, and to honour Emmett's memory and the ongoing search for justice and closure.
