When I contacted Pierre Lebeau about participating in this project that I proposed to Musique Plus back in 2004, he said straight up to me "John, I'm an actor, I can't sing (Are you listening Mario St. Amand?) I said don't worry Pierre, I don't want you to sing, I want you to recite this beautiful poem written by Andre St. Denis. People who know Pierre and his work know that he is a very charismatic and captivating actor....he could recite the phone book and make it interesting, I was really looking forward to his interpretation of this remarkable poem and, as you can see, he did not let me down. Wow!
