2 Alone, insieme ad Acoustically Alone ed Electrically Alone, è un progetto che concretizza in una serie di video ripresi dal vivo il mio studio del basso e della chitarra jazz, della musica, dell'armonia e dell'improvvisazione.
In 2 Alone ho deciso di suonare da solo con un basso elettrico amplificato ed una chitarra sia standard jazz, sia cover di altri generi musicali (Pop, Rock, Rock & Roll, Blues, Rythm & Blues) interpretandoli in chiave jazz.
La chitarra per questo brano è la archtop Gibson ES 175 acquistata nel 2001, le corde sono semilisce levigate .012 - .052
Il basso per questo brano è un Fender Jazz Bass solid-body fabbricato nel 1978. L'ho acquistato usato nel 1989, in origine aveva il manico in acero bianco. Nel 1990 l'ho fatto convertire in fretless dal Liutaio Sampaolo di Milano facendo applicare una tastiera con 24 tasti in ebano. Le corde sono liscie .050 - .095
L'amplificatore per la chitarra è a valvole, il Fender Blues Junior acquistato nel 2006, senza alcuna modifica.
L'amplificatore per il basso è a transistor, il Gallien Krueger 200 MB Series II acquistato nel 1991, senza alcuna modifica.

2 Alone, togheter with Acoustically alone and Electrically Alone, is a project which realizes in a series of live videos my study of jazz bass, jazz guitar, music, harmony and improvisation.
In 2 Alone I decided to play alone with an electric bass plugged and a guitar both jazz standards, and covers of other music genres (Pop, Rock, Rock & Roll, Blues, Rythm & Blues) interpreting them with a jazz feeling.
The guitar for this song is the Gibson ES 175 archtop bought in 2001, the strings are ground half-round .012 - .052
The bass for this song is a Fender Jazz Bass solid body made in 1978. I bought it in 1989, originally it had a white maple neck. In 1990 I had it converted to fretless putting an ebony 24 frets fretless fretboard, by the Liutery Sampaolo of Milano. Strings are flatwound .050 - .095
The amplifier for the guitar is a tube type Fender Blues Junior bought in 2006, without any modifications.
The amplifier for the bass is a transistor type Gallien Krueger 200 MB Series II bought 1991, without any modifications.
