KALIBANDULU was founded in 1999 by the passion of TONI aka REBEL T for Jamaican music in all its forms and expressions.This Crew borns and grows with the influence of bests dj's in Milan, VITO WAR and REGGAE RADIO STATION, BASS FI MASS, and ITAL SOUND MONZA INA DE YARD.Anyway the real turning point for KALIBANDULU comes when the sound system began playing in BOMBOCLAAT "Pergola", the best yard of the city.BANDULU name appears increasingly in Milan's Dance Hall.In July 2000 them moved him small sound at Rototom Sunsplash Osoppo.In 2001 there are 4 new entry into the crew: dj BUSH DOC and POWER D with mc BOB FIRE and MAJOR LARRY from Bergamo and in the same year them inaugurated a yard in Lecce, where they play with all the biggest dj of Italy: BASS FI MASS, ITAL SOUND, ONE LOVE HI POWA, I-SHENCE.In 2005 mc BOB FIRE come back to live in Salento and KALIBANDULU sound becomes one of the most appreciated and followed in 2006 and expanding to new and upcoming talent MAD MIKE (selecta), MOIZ (selecta) DJ FAST (selecta) BANDO (graphic) strictly from Mesagne (Brindisi). BANDO confirm his talent over the years by producing flyers for all the most important dancehall events in Italy and Europe,Covers RiddimCd like GullyCreepa & Outada.In 2008 he starts to make graphics for Brand new streetwear "Dojo Clothing." With this new team in 2007 KALIBANDULU wins THE FINAL BATTLE the CLASH in Pisa, the KILL OR BE CLASH Killed in Catanzaro and the first Italian TAG TEAM CLASH with Northern Lights in Martignano (Lecce).2007 and 2008 are two years full of successes which sees them as the most booked italian sound.Them play in a lot of italian and european yards like Milan, Bilbao (Spain), Amsterdam (Holland), Lugano (Switzerland), Lecce, Roma, Palermo, Catania, Ragusa, Ferrara, Udine, Pescara, Alexandria, Genoa, Grosseto , Ancona, Sondrio, Syracuse, Bologna, Parma, ReggioEmilia, Taranto, Brindisi, Pisa, Catanzaro and Novara with sound like: Mighty Crown, Sentinel, Freddy Krueger, Richie Spice, General Levy, Champion Squad, Jamrock Sound , Rollin Tone, Sud Sound System, One Love Hi Pawa, I-tal Sound, Bunna AfricaUnite, Golden Bass, Mad Kid, Northern Lights, Heavy Hammer, Black Rain, Bass fi Mass, Earthquake Sound, Nameless, Muccigna, Yaga Yaga, Wadada Sound, Combo Style, Balooba, Rankin Lele Papa Leu & Marina, Lu Marra, Fire Burn, Full Squad, GanjaPowa & RudeFamily .In 2008 at the crew is added DON LEO new promise Mc from Surbo (Lecce). KALIBANDULU works very hard in studio producing the series of mixtape"JUGGLING FROM MARS" with Vol.0 in 2006, Vol.1 in 2007, Vol.2 2008 .The last one have international success and see KALIBAnDULU in collaboration with CHAMPION SQUAD from Miami, the undisputed king of the remix made in USA, with whom they shared many dates abroad. The young crew is growing musically and in parallel with one of the youngest major producers of Jamaica, SEANIZZLE, creator of riddim which KLAMPUTE, REVERSE OF TING, GULLY CREEPA, OUTADA etc that over the years has become "Jugglin from mars" and "Kalibandulu" an active and vital aspect of the production work in the studio, providing even more than that a great support for promoting the island,lot of audio exclusive of their MixCd and LiveShow.In November 2008 Moiz going to win the JUGGLING WAR organized by Black Rain Sound and jury Dj Indi from Milan.KALIBANDULU today is one of the most popular sound system in Italy (but not only) for them Jugglin nights and they are active with brand new remixes production.This sound will not disdain the "cultural" and old look of reggae music but rather wants to innovate it.Ready to buss the places in 2009 Rebel T, Moiz, MadMike,Bando,DaMajor,Don Leo and DJ Fast,start with a new EUROPEAN TOUR,and them start with Stuttgart (Germany) which them will host by the first sound of europe SENTINEL .
