Golden Bass sound

The music project Golden Bass started up in winter 1997, from the love for reggae and Jamaica of three DJs: KIAN, DAIS, EASY K. Our idea was and is to recreate, in Italy too, what we had seen and heard in Jamaica: in other words the sound system style, a powerful medium for communicating and spreading good vibes. In early ’98, with Sisma Sound from Taranto, we assembled THE GOLDEN BASS SOUND SYSTEM. On April 10th 1998 at the Centro Sociale Autogestito Gola 10 the new Sound System kicked off with the great Alton Ellis’s smashing show. Since then, Golden Bass has rocked the crowd all over Italy, and has organized loads of blazing dancehalls and concerts with Italian and international artists (Sud Sound System, Bounty Killa and many more). Golden Bass has been the resident Sound at Milan Tunnel Club’s wicked reggae nigths, featuring names like Dennis Alcapone, Leroy Gibbons, Chronicle and many many others, and at the historical Leoncavallo’s massive reggae event, each month. Today Kian, Dais, Easy K are the crew. Their style is fired by the hottest Jamaican Sounds (Stone Love, Jaro…) All the way from rocksteady, right up to hardcore…
