Tre amiche, legate per motivi diversi dalla passione per la stessa musica, s'incontrano in una gelida notte d'inverno. La proposta della prorompente EliD, selecta cresciuta sotto la guida di Rebel T di Kalibandulu e già attiva con i Red Roots, non lascia scampo alle altre due: si forma una crew! I primi dieci minuti sono sufficienti per l'approvazione del nome che, giocando ironicamente sul filo del doppio senso, si concretizza nella scelta di Ukku Beat. Inizialmente viene proposto a Stefania aka StiffyB, coinvolta nel mondo della reggae music come giornalista (Groove, Rockstar, Rastasnob), di prendervi parte come MC ma, vista la sua passione per l'hardcore, la stessa decide anche di suonare, abbracciando entrambi i ruoli a turno con EliD, più incline al new roots. L'amore di Luisa è da sempre la foundation. Trovatasi per le mani l'immensa collezione di un maestro come il Capitano, Luisa si dedica principalmente alla selezione di classici immortali, adottando appunto il nickname di Lady Midnight.
