"Through the Eyes of a People" by Gabriel Ayala - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 28, 2017
DESCRIPTION:
For the first time in History, we as Indigenous People have the means to show what we have seen and are seeing and able to post about it through our own eyes. Far too long has the press been allowed to cover up things but not now.

I am proud to be able to document just a piece of the Travesty that has occurred and still occurring in Standing Rock, North Dakota while I was there and the times I was not able to physically be there. From camps: Oceti Sakowin, Rosebud, Cheyenne River and now Sacred Stone.

I would like to thank all of the water protectors and of course all of the journalists that came to make sure there was no fabrications told on the side of the Morton County Sheriff, DAPL Security, or anyone else for that matter.

Chiokoe Uttessia: Digital Smoke Signals, Indigenous Rising Media, Unicorn Riot, FaceBook posts & DeezMas Photography. To all of the Water Protectors: Stand Strong! HOKA! There is no such word as retreat. We are merely gathering to make our next move. Blessings to you all.
