Inspired by the playfulness of his four-year old daughter as she danced about, Anthony Wakeman created this music for the Native American flute.
Anthony Wakeman (of the Gunlake Band of Pottawatomi/Oglala Lakota) is an apprentice flutemaker to his uncle, the noted artist/sculpturer David A. Montour. His experience as a craftsman gives his composition greater expressiveness and depth. These melodies capture the haunting beauty of the solo flute and reflect the timeless traditions of Native America.
His first album, "Butterfly Dreams" was released in 2003. It was nominated for a New Age Retailer Narcissus Award in 2005. This category is judged among the very best in body, mind and spirit products available in the spiritual marketplace. Wakeman also was nominated for an Indian Summer award for Best Flutist for Butterfly Dreams.

Anthony Wakeman and Mr. Soon released "Points of Origin" in 2007. This album features the Native american flute melded with the mesmerizing sample-based textures, minimalist guitars and drifting atmospheres created by Mr. Soon. These songs evoke ambient landscapes of breathtaking grandeur.
