Wetness : 1983 - Cheaper Thrills - Video

DESCRIPTION:
Out the 18 septembre 2011 on Cheaper Thrills (Uk)

Belgian DJ and production duo Wetness make their debut on Cheaper Thrills this September with their jacked up party starting EP, '360°'.

Setting the tone for the whole EP, lead track '1983'; is a throbbing house number that builds and builds layering dark pounding bass pounds with whirling synths and the epic chorus. From start to finish this is bruising electro that will put lead in the pencil of any dancefloor.

A young Belgian duo with one sole mission; to make you dance,

Some Feedbacks :

*Scntst : Awesome! 1983 sounds good, 360 is dope. Will play out, I think.

*Mr Magnetik : Mon préféré reste le 1983 mais les autres sont top et le i wanna dance est vraiment très qualitatif je trouve ça donne une belle couleur à l'ep

*Dj Dan : wooow, super EP ! J'aime 1983 , je vais le jouer dans mes sets c'est sur ! think i wanna dance with u est sympa aussi il tournera .

*RadioKid : Very Cool Stuff ! "360°" and "1983" are bombs, but "I Think I Wanna Dance With You" stay my favorite track !

*Tilllate Magazine :What is it with Belgium? After the mash-up and nu- disco crazes comes another new exciting genre that could well boost dance floors everywhere. Wetness is a young duo of Dj's/producers who effortlessly blends house (and ravey electro with a zest of UK-bass thingy. This is their debut, three tracks that showcase their diversity. Lead track '1983' is engagingly relentless (129 bpm) but pitched down it morphs into another funky acid grinder whereas '360°' sounds like Roulé gone trance. 'I Think I Wanna Dance With You' which closes the EP, is a demented sample- based number that makes hilarious use of time- stretching functions and a handful of disco loops. 7/10 (JB)
