1992 - 1995:
DJC was formed, a Kid still in high school, a D- Student was
creating mix tapes and was handing them out to friends.
About a year after his formation, DJC is dumped by his high
school sweetheart and creates the "Trashbashing" Single,
Which was ultimately a flop but did sell roughly 100 copies at
local record stores.
The "Trashbashing" Single included the Tracks "Trashbashers"
and "Can't Make It Go Away".
1996 - 1997:
At a concert in Royal Oak, MI ft. 20 Dead Flower Children, DJC
throws out two trash bags full of his Halloween Single
"Halloween Groove" despite the small amount of sales, a Sound
was Evolving. In 1997 DJC joined up with D.O.C. (Defamation Of
Character) to record "Sit Back And Relax" and perform on stage
with the band until 1999, where DJC was gearing up for his first
E.P.
1999:
DJC decides to pack up his dream and head out to California,
where friends 20 Dead Flower Children had moved to. After
Partying and Non work related "activites" DJC starts to
drink heavily. With Help and Production from 20 Dead member
and friend "The Suit Guy" Kieth helped DJC with a new
Self Titled Demo CD including the Tracks "Enemy" and "The
Clerk" and by 2000 it starts a small following.
2000 - 2001:
In 2000 DJC moves back to his native Michigan through the
summer because of health problems related to he heavy drinking.
Nursing a liver back to health wasn't easy as it required 4
Complete months of Detox from ALL Alcohol, Still writing and
recording, and in 2001 DJC packed his bags once more and headed
back to California, to return to performing with friends and Spread
the word about the Detroit Underground Music scene.
2002 - 2004:
DJC Joins up with DIRT E from 20 DEAD and he becomes DJC's
Music making producer. DJC was Staying at DROID's studio and
Loft in Long Beach for a couple years playing shows and
recording the new CD "Been a Long Time" with Help of gutarist
Bruce of Droid and bassist DIRT-E, DJC recorded the album in
Huntington Beach,CA at 1605 studios and the rest of the album
in Long Beach at Droid studios to be released in 2005. Feeling
homesick and ready for a change again DJC plans on the new music on the Detriot area.
2005 - 2009:
In 2005 DJC finally releases his first Full Length album "Been A
Long Time.". Playing new shows Back In detroit, DJC gets
Ready for the biggest year and the biggest musical change!!
and new shows, teaming up with hardcore metal bands TEN TON DIESELHEAD and CLASS ONE DOWNLOAD. by the time 2007 rolled around a new E.P. in the works called "Hang Over" (later re-titled "Drunken Companion") and an
additude of real music unleashed for underground fans
everywhere!! Then in 2009 after two LONG years of recording,
writng, and living, DJC's Next FULL Length album is finished, with several songs that feature a completely new sound, to be released in 2010.
2010 and Beyond:
April 30th 2010 not only marks the release of the Second full length DJC album "Next Day Hangover" But, DJC's Triumphed Return to the Ritz, and Live Concerts.
Also in the Works is "DJC's Greatest Flops" an album consisting of Original Mixes, Unfinished Shit and of Course B-Sides. So, Be Sure to look for that in the Near Future.
