DESCRIPTION:
LOLA landscape architects and Staalplaat Soundsystem present a new installation that consists of a matrix of 64 trees with vibrators mounted on every tree individually which can be controlled through DMX. The sound of the individual trees can vary from barely audible to a heavy green noise. This enables the possibillity for different patterns to be played. A special composition for 64 trees is written with the title "Shiver Me Timbers". After this composition is played, the visitors are able to play different patterns through their mobile phone, by which they themselves influence the behavior of nature.
