Alright.

My name is Jason Peters A.K.A. "wize". I'm 23 years old. I'm a producer/m.c./cheesecake slinger. I love good music, and I'm open to any type, except country. Although jazz, funk, and soul are my favorites. I've been making real hip-hop for about 10 years. All you have to do is listen to my music, and you'll surely understand my passion. I don't do it for money, I do it for the love of the art. However, if I can get paid while making the music I love, why not? These beats help me get through rough times in my life. I used to write rhymes to relieve my stress, but it seems like I lose interest in rhyming more and more as I get older. Plus, it's really hard to get inspiration to write nowadays because everything that comes out lately just sucks. But I seem to put all of the energy I used to spend writing rhymes into producing beats, so it balances out. I love beat digging. For those who don't know, digging is searching for rare vinyls (records). I have a pretty big collection of vinyl, and my stacks continue to grow. SO IF YOU HAVE ANY VINYL THAT YOU DON'T WANT, FEEL FREE TO LET ME KNOW, AND I'LL TAKE THEM OFF YOUR HANDS. -----I am half of a group called Minds Alike. The group is me and my best friend, Matt Black A.K.A. 101. The name came about due to several instances of similar thoughts and ideas occurring at the exact same time. It's kinda strange, but I guess after being friends for 15 years, you can kind of have a very similar frame of mind. We both make beats and write rhymes. We have alot of ideas regarding musical projects, but it's been hard to put everything down because I had to relocate to TN. And now to South FL. But we will be back at it soon enough.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I lost my mother to cancer a few years back. It was a really painful experience to endure. However, I am an optimist and I always try to look at the bright side of things, regardless of how tragic something is. I did lose my mother, who was also my best friend, but I consider myself lucky in certain aspects. Some people lose a loved one in an instant.and they never get a chance to tell that person how much they meant or how much they were loved. I was given the opportunity to take care of my mom's every need for her last months here. I told her EVERYDAY how much I loved her and how much she meant to me. EVERYDAY. I even slept in her room for most of those three months just to make sure I spent as much time as I could with her. She taught me so many lessons about life and she really shaped the man I am today. I am so thankful that I had her for my mother and even though she left too early, she definitely raised 3 very respectful, intelligent, and compassionate boys in her time here, all while being a perfect wife to my father. She meant so much to me and it really is unfortunate she had to go.but everything happens for a reason, and I know she is in a better place now. I LOVE YOU MOM, AND I MISS YOU SOOOO MUCH. I KNOW YOU ARE WATCHING OVER US, AND THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE FOR ALL OF US.
