Modern Music on KNAC (early 1980's) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 22, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
Back when KNAC was known as "Rock N Rhythm 105.5 KNAC", even before KNAC "Pure Rock" - this was the "Modern Music" segment from KNAC every Sunday 8pm to midnight.

After transferring this recording to digital, a pitch and speed change had to be applied because the playback was slow from listening to it for years.

I can't find anything about "Modern Music" or Joe Caruso besides this image, so I would love some more information about it if anyone has any. Music for KNAC and this segment was provided by Zed Records, a record shop in Long Beach that closed permanently in 2000. https://longbeachhistory.wordpress.com/1970s-to-2000s-record-shops-from-z-to-a/
