I really don't know much about Carlos but I found the video kind of interesting for the VERY early computer graphics. The melody is okay but my tape had some problems so it's not as good as I'd like it to be. This probably came from the "Night Flight" show which ran on the USA Network. I've since done some Google searches for Alomar's work and he worked with some very big artists from the 70s through the 80s and beyond. He's primarily a guitarist (though you'd never know if from this video) and worked with David Bowie a LOT.
