DESCRIPTION:
These ensembles will feature the diverse compositions and arrangements of Andrew Garton (alto saxophone) in two very different formats. The trio with Andrew Shaw (bass) and Nathan Goldman (drums) allows all members to loosely find their own way into the tunes and make a unique contribution to this special collection of repertoire.

Conversely, the Abbreviations Orchestra features carefully constructed works that showcase the contrapuntal possibilities of this extended group with the trio supplemented by Dan Quigley (trumpet), Joshua Hatcher (tenor saxophone), Brodie McAllister (trombone) and Lachlan Bell (guitar).
