Eileen Pakenham (1914-2009): Musette

This is a short and simple piece written for solo mandolin by Eileen Pakenham. It has been recorded on albums by Alison Stephens (Con Espressione) and Chris Acquavella (Praeludium).

For this recording, I have played it on a 1915 Luigi Embergher bowlback mandolin (Tipo A model). I have also recorded and uploaded the same piece on tenor guitar (GDAE one octave below mandolin) and mandola (waldzither in CGDA tuning) -- these can be viewed through my channel.
