DESCRIPTION:
Often compared to David Gray, Damien Rice, as well as James Blunt, Alex McEwan has his own style and certainly his own voice. One of the UK's best vocalist, Alex established himself with the release of "Beautiful Lies," '05 and the popular single "Make A Wave." Alex was then invited to tour the U.K. with Katie Melua.

Championed by Terry Wogan, as well as Janice Long at Radio 2 BBC, "Make A Wave" became a popular recording, summer '05. Co-written with Graham Daddy and Lou Natkin (a/k/a Lou Maxfield). The album was produced by Lou Natkin and Alex McEwan.
"Run Away" was an outstanding track from the CD, featuring guest vocalist, Nikki Lamborn of Never The Bride (chorus sections), as well as guitarist Martin Belmont (Graham Parker And The Rumor, Ducks Deluxe, Nick Lowe, Billy Bragg, John Hiatt, etc.). "Run Away" was co-written with Lou Natkin.
