DESCRIPTION:
This piece is Alexis Lontos Leonidou’s first chamber work, composed during his Undergraduate Studies in New York back in 2008. It is a quintet for a Violin, Cello, Vibes, Flute and Harp. It is called ''Brush-Strokes for 5 instruments'', Alexis Lontos’ intention was to compose a small miniature cadenza-like solo moment, where at the end all the instruments climax together.
Alexis Leonidou is still sentimentally attached with this piece because, as he puts it, he can still feel his anxious heartbeats on the day of the performance :)
