Alexis Lontos Leonidou is a producer, composer, songwriter and singer. Having grown up in a family where arts in general played a significant role, it was inevitable for Alexis not to show great interest in music and arts from a very young age. Upon completing his high school education, he enrolled in the National Conservatory of Athens in Greece. He graduated in 2007 receiving a Diploma with Excellence in Harmony and Counterpoint, while also acquiring a Diploma with Excellence in Voice from the Music Horizon Conservatory of Athens. In addition, Alexis holds a Diploma from the London College of Music at Thames Valley in Music Theory and Literacy (LMusLCM). Subsequently, he moved to New York City to study as an undergraduate student at the renowned Mannes College for Music pursuing a degree in Classical Composition. At the same time, Alexis Leonidou also studied Orchestral Conducting at the evening division of the Juilliard School, under one of the most prominent 20th Century Conductors, Vincent La Selva. During his studies in New York City, Alexis was blessed enough to work and attend classes under important composers such as John Corigliano, Christopher Theofanides, Rudolph Palmer, David Loeb, Agrippino Bellino, Frederic Hand and many more.

In 2011, Alexis Lontos enrolled in Graduate Studies at King’s College of London, UK, where he studied Composition under Silvina Milstein, Alexander Goehr’s student, a musical lineage that goes all the way back to Ludwig van Beethoven. From 2010 to 2013, Alexis had very productive years with a plethora of musical pieces, composing music in almost every form and genre. Ranging from Modern Classical big ensemble works to Solo instruments, Film Scoring, Programmatic, Electronic, Traditional, Popular music, he won multiple international awards and had performances globally, especially within Central Europe. In 2013 Alexis Lontos Leonidou was the youngest composer in residence guest invited at the International Shakuhachi Festival in Prague, where his solo Shakuhachi work ‘’Regardless’’ was performed by Jim Franklin, following up its very successful premiere performance in the USA by Grand Master James Nyoraku Schlefer.

In 2012 Alexis decided to return back to his homeland, Cyprus. During this time, he was very interested in contributing to children’s introduction and education in classical forms, introducing his works - “Small Sweet So-Konatines for young musicians” - through a series of mini live concerts. Striving to highlight the power of music, he was involved in multiple charity concerts. This gave life to his solo project, Busking for Hope, where Alexis was busking in the streets of Limassol. This helped raise awareness and funds for the Social Market, following the global economic depression that heavily affected Cyprus at the time. This small project was gradually embraced by many other Limassolian musicians. It eventually grew and gave rise to a massive concert that took place in Limassol, with a lot of Greek and Cypriot musicians performing in front of an outside crowd of 18,000 people, donating goods, food and money for the Social Market.

Working as producer with various artists and events, in 2015 Alexis Lontos Leonidou produced soprano Aliki Chrysochou’s debut album, “Reflections”, and her debut Christmas album in 2020, collaborating with composer Robin Hoffmann and the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Connecting the dots of his artistic lineage and entrepreneurship spirit, cultivated through his studies, experiences and different countries he lived in, Alexis published his first book "60+1 Life Lessons To Inspire, Motivate, Elevate Your Life" in 2017 as a newcomer author.
Alexis Lontos’ works have been performed and praised in several countries including Cyprus, Greece, Serbia, Canary Islands, Austria, Germany, Prague, Belgium, Canada and U.S.A.
