DESCRIPTION:
Whimsical, soulful and cheerfully off-kilter, Al Barlow is one of the favorite songwriters of some of his better-known buddies (Robert Earl Keen, Todd Snider, and Terri Hendrix among them). More likely to be seen singing around a campfire (anywhere from New Braunfels to Terlingua to Port Aransas) than booking a bar gig someplace, we're glad we were able to pin down this unique Texas treasure (and his vintage Gibson Dove) for a Backroom Bootleg appearance.
