Tribute to a brilliant pianist/composer Octavio Brunetti (1975 -2014).
Octavio Brunetti - born in Rosario, Argentina in 1975 he was one of the most sought after tango pianists of our times. He founded his own tango quintet in September 2006, the Argentine Tango quintet. His recordings include “Saludos” with Domingo Federico, “Tierra y Asfalto” with his own Duo, “Inquietudes” with Omar Torres Quintet. Most recently he recorded with Yo-Yo Ma and had his arrangements performed by New York Philharmonic. Octavio tragically passed away in August 2014 in New York city from an unknown infection.
