The Kiss - Toaster Music Performs at Art_Ober First Fridays Long Beach in Bixby Knolls - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 08, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Improvisational electronica duo Toaster Music, featuring Sumako on Kaossilator Pro, KP3, and KP2, all controlled with the PadKontrol. Sander Roscoe Wolff uses a custom bult Indy Rail lap steel guitar, and a custom built electric guitar (aka The Sandblaster) fitted with a Roland GR3 hex pickup which, in turn, controls a Nord MIcro Modular with custom patches. Guitar sounds are processed with a Line6 M13. He also uses a Novation Nova controlled by an Akai MPK-25, a Korg Kaossilator Pro, and a Digitech Time Bender.

The audio used here was recorded live, straight from the board, on Friday, October 4th, in the North Gallery of the Expo Arts Center in Bixby Knolls. The event was part of the monthly First Fridays Art Walk.

The video, which was being projected behind us as we played, features local dancer Poloma Pomba, with body painting by Abbigale Agape McCarthy, performing in celebration of the launch of Arts Month in Long Beach. Many thanks go to David Van Patten for sharing his amazing art work in our space.
