PUBLISHED:  Sep 28, 2009
DESCRIPTION:
Cinco de Gatos was a post hardcore band from Chicago, Illinois that existed from 1994 to 1996. They contributed songs to the Ground Rule Double comp, the Ooh Do I Love You comp and the Emo Scheemo 7"comp. They recorded an album called Epiphany Wants To Come Home at Steve Albini's house with Tar's bass player Tom Zaluckyj for the Action Boy label but was never released. They often shared the stage with bands such as Cap'n Jazz, Braid, Karate, The Make Up, Monitor Radio, The Scissor Girls and Kerosene 454 among others. Singer/guitar player Jonathan Scott went on to form the Doleful Lions and has released 7 albums on Parasol Records. Bass player Jason Dummeldinger went on to play bass in the band Red Eyed Legends.

This is the band I played guitar and sang for in the early to mid 1990's. I will post more off our unreleased album soon.
