DESCRIPTION:
Abbie's musical journey embraces acoustic roots, Americana, and alt-country, with lashings of Mexicana, and her tools are her voice, banjo, guitar, ukulele and harmonica.
She has travelled extensively around Australia, and has undertaken several journeys to Mexico to connect with the music and collaborate with Mexican musicians and bands. She has produced a number of albums and EPs - along the way collecting a raft of music industry awards, and recognition by her peers.

Abbie has performed at most major Australian festivals, as well as SXSW in the US and Vive Latino in Mexico. She has performed alongside artists such as Tony Joe White, Steve Earle, David Knopfler, Martha Davis & The Motels, The Waifs, Xavier Rudd, Missy Higgins, Ash Grunwald, and was on Keith Urban's team on 'The Voice' Australia.

'The Round' is a monthly musical event held in Brisbane, Australia. The evening showcases three solo musicians playing acoustically, taking turns with their songs - 4 originals and 1 cover. Abbie chose "Come Pick Me Up" by Ryan Adams as her cover song for the night - to rapturous applause. The song is included on her album "The Bare Bones Session".
