Demo track by singer & songwriter Gary Taylor who wrote and recorded it in 1985, for a planned second album on A&M, but eventually gave the song to Alfie Silas in '86, and then a year later to The Whispers, who had a big hit with their version.

" I did this demo back in the early 80's as the start of what was to be a second album on A&M records... but they said the song wasn't a hit. My Brother's The Whispers thought differently, and said yes we want to record it... and we want you to produce it... the rest is history. 1.3 million + copies sold and it's easy to see why A&M records is no longer around... like Scotty and Walter told me..."This song is timeless"... what a Blessing"
