Carnifex are a Deathcore/Death Metal outfit from San Diego, California, they formed in 2005 and have released five length albums in that time with a brief hiatus which began in October 2012 and lasted up until June 2013 where they announced their return, their signing to Nuclear Blast Records and the recording of their latest full-length, "Die Without Hope" which was released in March 2014.

Since this song, like the rest of the bands back catalogue, is in Drop A I found that I was able to use some of my dirtier tones without 'over-doing it' so to speak. The low tuned B string sounded heavier than it ever has on this recording, so much that I found it difficult to mix on my speakers, then again, my speakers kind of suck. Anyone want to give me £250+ for Rokit KRKs? No? Okay then...
