DESCRIPTION:
This professional kora was made by Dialy Mady Cissoko in Bamako, Mali in 2012. It arrived with wooden tuning pegs, and I replaced them with bass machine tuners here in Chapel Hill, NC. I'm currently working on a system of import for these instruments to help support my teacher and his community back in Mali.
