Meech



meech, born in West Tulsa, Oklahoma February 7, 1985. Growing up in the westside

projects known as Riverview Park (West 23rd St.), Ya Ya learned how to survive in the

streets. Although not a street hustler he seen the grim realities of what street life

could bring and take away. With constant encouragement as a youth his grandmother pushed

him and implanted into his head that he could be whoever he wanted to be. After she passed

in 1997 his family up and moved to Memphis, TN where his older brother and he learned to

depend on each other. In 1999 they returned to the westside of Tulsa, Ok only to become

indulged in what the streets had to offer. Entangling themselves in a life of hustling,

robbing and anything else they had to do in order to eat. Shortly after this spiraling

path Ya Ya Bang decided to pursue what he loved the most and began working on his craft

to become the best rapper he could be.
