In a fashion that is emerging as the status-quo from this label, Terabyte Records have unearthed their next talents, Yukon & Deluded, from the greenest and grassiest roots. Based in the heart of the historically industrial West Midlands, their sound mirrors this in absolution. Already recognised amongst the most astute fans of the genre, Matt Broughton & Alex Clarke are destined for greatness; expect a bright future from the pair.

The first track, 'Snow' is all about half-step deepness. This piece combines intricate percussion work with heavy, droning subs, backed by a tear-out knock/rimshot combination and really pushes this tribal sonics of Drum & Bass that is so in vogue right now.

The b-side, 'Lost Contact', opens with ethereal pads and beautiful crafted atmospheres, building climatically towards the darkness that is about to ensue. This tune is very reminiscent of producers like Spectrasoul, combining complex, stepped drum rhythms with in your face basslines and eerie sound effects that make for one animal of a track.
All in all, this release shows that Terabyte are committed to putting out forward thinking Drum & Bass music, and Yukon & Deluded are certainly worthy examples of such.
