DESCRIPTION:
Here's the remastered, official music video version of Y&T's Lipstick And Leather video, not the later live version that was played on MTV and even later VH1 Classic, this is the much harder to find original studio version with the hot 80's chicks, and Dee Snider in the Rock suit at the end.
This version hasn't aired on TV in over 30 years. There's a copy on youtube already, but this is a 100% complete high quality copy with remastered video & audio.
Who knows why this kick ass version of the music video was replaced with the live version? I don't really understand the logic in that. Even on Night Flight within a few months of airplay this video was replaced with the live version, and this special version was never seen again. I've asked the band, but they don't have any clue why this occurred either.
I've taken this from the original VHS, re-recorded it highest possible quality and cleaned it up to make it look much better. This is from when it aired on Night Flight back in 1984, the original VHS tape is still in perfect mint condition and you can actually see whats going on in this copy of the video.
