New Orleans Sousaphonist/percussionist Monty Montgomery's DC Jazz band. Yamomanem plays New Orleans Jazz, 30s Carribean Latin music and improv funky jams. We like playing the old songs in our style- Nominated for Best Jazz Band (07) Wammie Awards. Honorable mention for Takoma Voice favorite local band and of course we are legends in our own minds.
