Yaga Yaga Sound System Since 2001 From Roma
Yaga Yaga was founded in 2001 in Rome by nine people in love with reggae music from several years. With a selfmade Sound System of 12000 W, started to make danzhall in every corner of Rome, but the real yard of YagaYaga was the CSA Intifada, that it was the biggest location in Italy for a danzhall Now the biggest club is Zoobar, that YagaYaga discovered and where now plays as a resident sound together with other friends crew!! After a pair of years that we passed to make practice, and to increase our experience we started some int'l collaboration. U-Brown, Half Pint, Lt Stitchie, Sister Nancy, Reggie Stepper, Dennis Al Capone, Anthony Johnson, Jah Mason, Daddy Freddy, Killamanjaro, Saxon, LP International, Sentinel, Jah Sound, Soul Stereo. and others are some of the artists or sounds that we guests in Rome, and others will come soon In the summer of 2005 two people left the sound but we continue to spread reggae vibes all over!!!! We play all style of reggae music,from oldies to bashment and now we are 2 Mc and 2 Selecta.
In the summer of 2008 we won the "Jam Jam Cup Soundclash",2 soundclash against two of the most rated italian sound system! We played yet in Barcelona (Esp) and in every corner of Italy : Salento, Milano, Udine, Bologna, Perugia, Pescara, Firenze, Napoli, Macerata, Reggio Emilia, Grosseto, Calabria, Sicily and in the Rototom Sunsplash,the biggest reggae festival in Europe
