Xola emerged onto the hip hop scene with Grammy Award winning artist Sir
Mix-a-Lot. Under the alias Kid Sensation, the solo run began yielding 4 Kid
Sensation CDs with 2 top 10 hits, a Gold single, and over 1,000,000 units
sold. Critically acclaimed sports anthems (several NFL teams,
Ichiro-Mariners allstar outfielder, Pro Bowler Shaun Alexander, a duet
with Ken Griffey, Jr. Fox Sports Network) add to his music portfolio. Xola
has hosted MTV and BET segments, received a PSA Emmy nomination, NAMA,
Golden Reel Awards, and 7 MTV/BET videos. Xola is at home behind a mic and
in front of an audience, sharing the stage with major acts from LL Cool J,
Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Will Smith, and many more in front of up to 20,000+. Xola
is currently working on his next solo CD along with various other projects
(United Way, Dialogue One, Raise Hope for Congo) a children's book, and
reading for a major motion picture.
