DESCRIPTION:
I set myself a challenge to write a and record an xmas song in a day and here is the little song I ended up with. The story is inspired by "The Price", a short story by Neil Gaiman from his book "Smoke and Mirrors". Instead of a cat being the protector it's the fairy on top of the tree!

The Angel on the Tree
Twelve days, on a tree and angel looks at me
and weaves a spell, to protect us all.
For twelve days, the make believe
without a sound, silently she weaves a spell,
to protect us all.

and if bad luck comes to our door
she takes it all.
the things we fear, that tire and tear
she takes it all.

and everyday, she is there in other ways
but for this twelve,
she is on our tree.
