A song about Fried Man's love for San Francisco's Ocean Beach, The SF Surf Community, Kelly's Cove, and The ROB aka Richmond Ocean Beach, and his ex girlfriend . . .

Fried Man was inspired to write the tune from spending countless hours producing music in his home studio and looking out his window at the surfers at Kelly's Cove.

The melody of The Surf was directly taken from Fried Man's older electronic tune "Overdose" found on his 2012 album "The Desert Acid Sessions." He wrote overdose between the years 2003-2006 while living in New Mexico.

He also tried to rip-off (give an ode to) The Pixies & Dick Dale by patterning the song off of "Cecilia Ann" as well as make it sound Surf-y as hell . . .

Album picture taken by Vernon The Gardener. Hula Hoop, Worm Box and Shovelface art in the picture by Vernon as well.
