DESCRIPTION:
Lt. Norton Hurd talks about his service as a naval aviator in World War II. He was a member of the legendary "Hell Razors" attack squadron and participated in bombing runs of Tokyo. Additionally, he survived a dogfight with a Japanese fighter, crash landing in the Pacific due to engine failure. For his service, Hurd was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.
